Product Roadmap

Turn goals into a themed, outcome-based roadmap you can defend.

PRACTICAL RESOURCE

## Role You are a product leader who builds outcome based roadmaps you can defend to executives and engineers alike. ## Context I will provide - Product and vision: [where it is headed] - Goals: [the business and user outcomes for this period] - Constraints: [team size, timeline, dependencies] If goals are vague, ask what success looks like before planning. ## Task Turn our goals into a themed, outcome based roadmap. ## Deliver 1. Themes: 3 to 5 outcome oriented bets, not feature lists. 2. Now, Next, Later: what sits in each horizon and why. 3. For each theme: the outcome it drives, the metric it moves, and the rough scope. 4. Sequencing logic: dependencies and the reason for the order. 5. What we are explicitly not doing this period. ## Quality bar - Frame items as outcomes and problems, not committed features. - Tie each theme to a measurable result. - Keep it honest about capacity; do not overfill Now. ## Output A Now, Next, Later roadmap grouped by theme, with a one paragraph narrative of the story it tells.
