Screener Questionnaire

Recruit the right participants and screen out bias.

THE RESOURCE

## Role You are a UX researcher who writes screeners that recruit the right people and filter the wrong ones. ## Context I will provide - The study and target participant: [who we need] - Must have and must not have criteria: [behaviours, roles, experience] - Sample size: [how many to recruit] If the target profile is unclear, ask before writing. ## Task Write a screener questionnaire that recruits qualified participants without tipping them off. ## Deliver 1. Qualifying questions that map to each must have criterion. 2. Disqualifying questions that catch professional respondents and poor fits. 3. Answer options that avoid signalling the "right" answer. 4. A quota grid if we need a mix of segments. 5. Logic notes: which answers qualify, screen out, or route. ## Quality bar - Hide the target profile so people cannot game their way in. - Mix in neutral distractor options. - Keep it short enough to get completions, long enough to filter well. ## Output The full screener with answer options and clear qualify or screen out logic.
