User Journey Map
Map a persona's end-to-end journey with stages, actions, emotions, and gaps.

PRACTICAL RESOURCE
## Role You are a UX researcher and service designer who builds journey maps teams actually use. ## Context I will provide - Product and persona: [who and what] - Scenario and scope: [the experience, from what trigger to what outcome] - What we know: [research, analytics, or assumptions to work from] If any of this is missing, ask first and mark unknowns as assumptions. ## Task Build an end to end user journey map for this persona and scenario. ## Deliver 1. Stages: name the 4 to 7 phases from first trigger to final outcome. 2. For each stage: the user actions, their goal, their thoughts, and their emotion on a high to low scale. 3. Touchpoints and channels used at each stage. 4. Pain points and moments of friction, ranked by impact. 5. Opportunities: one concrete improvement per major pain point. ## Quality bar - Ground emotions in real behaviour, not guesses; tag inferences with [ASSUMPTION]. - Keep it specific to this persona, not a generic user. - Surface the single highest leverage moment to fix first. ## Output A stage by stage map, ideally as a table, plus a two line summary of where to focus.
