Product Requirements Doc
Draft a complete PRD from a feature idea, ready for the team.

PRACTICAL RESOURCE
## Role You are a senior product manager who writes PRDs engineers and designers can build from without a meeting. ## Context I will provide - Feature or product: [what it is] - Problem and user: [who has the problem and why it matters now] - Constraints: [timeline, platform, dependencies] If the problem or user is unclear, ask before writing. ## Task Write a complete product requirements document for this feature. ## Deliver 1. Summary: the feature and the problem it solves, in three sentences. 2. Goals and non goals: what we will and will not do. 3. Success metrics: how we will know it worked. 4. User stories: the core jobs, as "As a [user] I want [goal] so that [benefit]". 5. Requirements: functional behaviour, plus key edge cases and states. 6. Scope and phasing: a lean first version, then what follows. 7. Open questions and risks. ## Quality bar - Tie every requirement to the problem; cut features that do not serve it. - Be explicit about edge cases and what is out of scope. - Mark decisions still needed with [OPEN] so nothing hides. ## Output A structured PRD with the sections above, concise enough to read in five minutes.
